BeautyCounter's Overnight Resurfacing Peel is my glow-boosting secret super-power. It leaves my skin super soft without the sting I've gotten from other peels. Here's why it works.
- Glycolic Acid – Helps to resurface and exfoliate the skin.
- Lactic Acid – Stimulates cell renewal which promotes a smooth complexion.
- Citric Acid – Helps renew the skin.
- Arginine and Fatty Acids – Helps moisturize the skin and prevent the sting common with many glycolic acid peels.
The combination of resurfacing and moisturizing ingredients make this peel unique. As I mentioned, other peels can make your skin sting. You may notice a tingle with this peel, but it's significantly less than many glycolic acid-based products I've used in the past. Believe me, I've used a lot of glycolic acid over the years! It's an effective and powerful anti-aging ingredient.
I also love that the Overnight Resurfacing Peel can be used effectively with other BeautyCounter products. The CounterTime collection is my daily skincare regime, but on the days I use the Overnight Resurfacing Peel I skip the serum. I use the Countertime Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream every night after applying either the Overnight Resurfacing Peel or the Countertime Tripeptide Radiance Serum. So basically, I rotate between the Radiance Serum and the Resurfacing Peel at night. In the morning I use the Countertime Tripeptide Radiance Serum as usual.

If you're using the All Bright C Serum you can still use the Overnight Resurfacing Peel in the morning, but don't use them at the same time.
The only issue with the Overnight Resurfacing Peel is that it does make my skin more sensitive to the sun because of the glycolic acid. When I know I'll be in the sun often (like when I'm on vacation) I leave the Overnight Resurfacing Peel at home and just use the Tripeptide Radiance Serum to avoid burns. So although the Resurfacing peel offers amazing results, I do recommend that you double up on sunscreen and use it sparingly during the summer or when you know you'll be in the sun a lot.
